This policy explains what personal information Académie Innovatech de Paris collects, why we use it and the choices available to you.

Information we collect

We collect information you provide when you create an account, apply for a programme, book mentoring, contact us or submit a mentor application. Depending on the service, this can include your contact details, professional profile, learning information and availability.

We may also collect limited technical information needed to operate and protect the website, such as browser information, request timestamps and security event data.

How we use information

We use personal information to:

  • provide and administer our learning and mentoring services;
  • review applications and communicate about their progress;
  • respond to questions and support requests;
  • maintain the reliability, safety and security of the platform; and
  • meet applicable administrative or legal obligations.

We do not sell mentor-application information.

Mentor applications

A mentor application may include your identity and contact details, current role, professional experience, specialties, languages, availability, support preferences, LinkedIn profile and CV. We use this information only to assess your fit for the mentor network, contact you about the application and administer the review process.

CVs are stored in a private storage bucket. They are not published and are available only to authorised administrators through short-lived, access-controlled download links.

Storage and sharing

We use service providers, including Supabase, to host and secure the data needed to operate the platform. These providers process information on our behalf for infrastructure and service-delivery purposes. We may also disclose information when required by law or when necessary to protect the platform and its users.

We use access controls and private storage for mentor applications. No internet service can be guaranteed completely secure, but we limit access to people and systems that need the information for the purposes described here.

Retention

We keep personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purpose for which it was collected, to maintain appropriate records and to meet applicable obligations. Retention can vary by the type of service and the status of an application. Information that is no longer needed is deleted or de-identified where appropriate.

Your choices

You may ask us to access, correct or delete personal information you have provided, or to stop contacting you about a mentor application. Some requests may be subject to identity verification and applicable legal limitations.
